About This Project
Artist Chen Wenling's Chinese Scenery NO.1 stands at the junction of the park and the city, and looks down from the north-south elevated road, as a milestone, witnessing the realization of urban fantasy.
The high-tech sense of stainless steel material fully expresses the mechanical indifference and technological arbitrariness of modern civilization. The smooth surfaces and smooth lines reflect a sense of precision, and also relieve the tension and coldness. . The polished stainless steel reflects the image of the surrounding environment and distorts and breaks it into an unrealistic illusion. This is also a contradiction between tension and fusion. The work uses surreal mountains and rocks to dissolve and flow the scene, showing a purified world of emptiness, meditation, and contemplation. The theme of melting, flowing, and solidifying makes people appreciate the variability of time and the disorder of space. Attempting to arouse people's re-examination of their daily reference system and the external world, to find a critical point of balance between internal and external.
