About This Project
A strong sense of strength and passion would be the viewers’ first impression of this sculpture. It’s like a combined body of a shark fin and a time machine shaped as an arching bow that embodies strength and speed. Resembling a flagship, the figure also symbolizes modern society’s reexamination of competitiveness and its advocation for high efficiency. Shall the viewers dare to search for a deeper understanding, they would be rewarded with a discovery of its inherent force and contradiction projected between the smooth surface streamline, and the broken trace of like having been torn by some massive force from operation adjustment. It is somewhat equal to a shell of the wing falling off into the atmosphere from its main body of universe aircraft at high speed, melting and distorted on the surface. The simple, flat, and curving surface of the pressed side stands as a dramatic comparison with the mysterious and complicated innate structure. In this way, the work leads to reminds us that any subject, when receiving or transforming a natural force, would encounter a gradual change from appearance to inside.
