About This Project

Phoenix sculpture, designed by Chinese artists, is 20 meters high and made of red copper. It is made by a pure hand forging process and surface sticking with gold.
Like the dragon, the phoenix is an important part of Chinese traditional culture and has a long history. In the primitive Chinese pottery culture six or seven thousand years ago, there was the prototype of the phoenix image. However, more than 3500 years ago, phoenix patterns appeared on the bronze wares of the Shang Dynasty. With the development of society, the symbolic meaning of Phoenix has changed accordingly. People no longer regard Phoenix as a symbol of autocracy, but a symbol of national culture. Now phoenix also symbolizes auspiciousness, happiness, love, and rebirth.
